Quick Cards

Here are some quick cards I have made, the layout was easy and my colour inspiration come from the DSP that was used.

The first two used the Apple Blossom Hostess set and the Greenhouse Gala DSP.

Clean & Simple Stamping Sketch

Clean & Simple Stamping have posted their current challenge 125 and the layout can be seen if you click here.

In all the cards I have used the Greenhouse Gala DSP – yes I suppose you could say that it is my favourite DSP at the moment.

This DSP contains a number of colours: Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Baja Breeze.

Except for one card I have used the card stock colours from the DSP, except for one – Yes once more I have used Concord Crush, another favourite :)

The words on the card below are from the Apple Blossoms stamp set – “ happy thoughts make happy days”.  Unfortunately it cannot be seen very clearly on the photo but I thought added a nice touch to a very happy card.

Greenhouse Gala – Birthday Cards

I have created some birthday cards using the Greenhouse Gala DSP.  This DSP has really grown on me – the bright mixture of colours in the papers give such life to the cards.

I have used the new In-Color Concord Crush as the base card for two of the cards and it has
co-ordinated well with the Greenhouse Gala DSP.  This is not a colour I thought I would use that much but I have had to purchase a new A4 pack recently!

To colour the butterfly I inked the stamp in Pumpkin Pie and then rolled the outside in the Concord Crush.

Below are the two cards that I made that used Concord Crush cardstock as the base.

2011 – New Year, New Challenges

Hi everyone,

Things have been so crazy leading up to Christmas and here we are at the end of January.

Since my last post things have been so busy with Christmas, visitors, school holidays and my daughter managed to pick up the Chicken Pox but she will be ready for school next week, much to her disappointment.

With so much happening there has not been a lot of time for the creative mind to take over, but  I have completed some birthday cards, which I will post in the next few days.

I have also managed to catch up on the majority of the Friendship Books that have been outstanding and now I am working on returning some RAK’s and sending out Birthday Cards.

I hope that everyone is well and that 2011 brings you lots of love, happiness and time to stamp :)

Please stop bye again soon.
