Happiness

Hi everyone,

It’s Anzac Day today and a day were Australians and New Zealander’s remember all our fallen soldiers.  It is the anniversary of the first major military action which was fought by Australian and New Zealand forces in the First World War.

ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and if want to know more about the ANZAC’s and the history of Australia Day you can visit the Australian War Memorial if you click here.

My card below has just one word on it.… happiness.

The sketch for this card is from Sketch Frenzy Friday and the colours from ColorLab’s current colour challenge:

 ColorChallenge38

I have used Pink Pirouette for the base of the card and the petal image from the Printed Petals stamp set.

Supplies:

Stamp set: Printed Petals, Priceless, Warm Words (retired)

Card: Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette

Accessories:  Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Distressing Tool from Cutter Kit, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

A simple card with soft colours.

On today, I am happy and thankful for every soldier and what they have done and continue to do for this country.

This is a day of remembrance of all the good and bad times, ones that make us cry and ones that make us laugh with happiness.

Take care and keep safe, please visit again soon…… Meg x

Very pretty card. I love how you've embossed the edges. And that big green flower is so sweet! Thanks for joining us at the ColorLab this week.
