Inkspirational Anything Goes

Just wanted to share with your my card for the Inkspirational Anything Goes challenge, which is very CAS with butterflies and bling of course.

I have used the Woodgrain Textured Embossing folder which was sanded in patches.  I had forgotten about the Little Leaves Sizzlits Die I had so I dusted it off and used it to create the leaves.

The butterfly image is from the Papillion Potpourri stamps set and I inked the stamp up first and rolled the second colour.  The images were then punched out and covered in VersaMark and then coated with Heat & Stick and Dazzling Diamonds. So they are very sparkly.

Here is the my card:

Christmas Easel

Don’t you just love Easel cards?  They always turn out lovely and you get a chance to get out the embossing folders or even the papers you have in your stash.

This week’s challenge at Holly Jolly is to create an Easel card and found this great little tutorial over at Bronwyn Eastley’s blog to create a mini easel card using the two tag die.

I have used Cherry Cobbler card stock and embossed one tag using the Vintage Wallpaper Folder.  Love the glitter paper and the Snow Flurry Die and of course a little more bling near my Christmas Blessing message.

Here is my mini Easel creation:

Hi everyone,

We have a great new challenge over at Crafty Creations this week, we want you to raid your stash and show us:

Something Old & Something New

Well I have done just that and here are the items I have used:

New: In-Colour Brads and stamp from the “Blessed Mother” stamp set
Old: Beautiful Butterflies Die & Eyelet Border Punch

The layout for my card is inspired by the Clean and Simple Sketch and I have used the sentiment from the Blessed Mother stamp set because I think it is perfect for a Mother’s Day card.

The sentiment reads: “You mean so much to me

I purchased both the brads and the stamp set a while ago and they have not been used until now.

But my old favourites have been used a lot!

I have used some of the Tea for Two DSP and colours I have used are from the DSP.

CAGI – CASE DT

I am hosting the new challenge over at Come and Get It this week and the theme for the challenge is

CASE Design Team

So you have to CASE one of the Design Team members cards. Link your card and the CASEd card to your post and show everyone what you have created.

Easy?  I think it is fun!

I decided to CASE one of the cards on Shell’s blog and I have used one of the Sponsor’s images and coloured the image in with Water Colour pencils.

With the help of the Big Shot for the embossing and the die cuts, this card was relatively quick to create.  Love the dies that co-ordinate with stamps so much easier than cutting out the image!
