Come and Get It – Masculine Theme

Over at Come and Get It this week we are shifting our attention to the males in our lives and creating something for them.

 

Sometimes it can be a struggle to create a masculine card so this is a great challenge to get some ideas!

 

I have used the retired Motorcycle image from Stampin Up and created a fairly simple card using Island Indigo, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla colours with a little special touch of glitter and a button.

Inkspirational Sketch

Dashing thru the Snow

At Holly Jolly we are ‘Dashing Thru the Snow’ as this is the theme for our new challenge.

 

I have used a retired stamp set called Welcome Christmas to create my card as it has a perfect image of some children playing in the snow with a sled.

 

There are lots of snowflakes falling and i have stamped on tag just to be different.

Our new challenge at Come and Get It this week is a 1-2-3 Challenge.

I have used a layout that I found at Paper Sweeties Monthly Sketch Challenge and some of the More Amore Speciality Designer Paper, as I just love the soft colours of this paper.

 

I used two different sheets of this paper, some Primrose Petals Satin Stitched Ribbon and for my embellishments there are pearls, a butterfly and button.

CAGI Sketch

Ornament Challenge

Dust off your Ornament stamps or get creative and make an ornament for Christmas as we would love you to join our new challenge over at Holly Jolly this week which is being hosted by Judy.

 

The layout of my card was inspired by another Clean and Simple Sketch and I have used the Ornament stamp from the Tags til Christmas stamp set.

 

I also stamped the ornament two extra times and punched it out using the ornament punch and created a little layer on one of the images.

One for the Boys Challenge

I find it hard to think of a layout or theme for a male card so our new challenger over at Crafty Creations has helped me add a new card to my stash with our “One for the Boys” Challenge.

 

I have used an image from the retired Seaworthy Stamp set and created a boarder around the image with the Labels Collection Framelits.

 

The panel on the left side has been created with the Stripes Embossing Folder.
