Christmas Sparkle

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to share with you our new challenge over at Holly Jolly.

This week we want you to Show us some Glitter.

Can be a lot or a little it is up to you and our challenge is sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.

I have used an image called Snowman Father Time and coloured the image in with Copic markers.

The layout of my card has been inspired by the current sketch at Friday Sketch Challenge.

For my sparkle I have added some Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details and there is a strip of Glitter Paper behind the image, this has been punched using the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

I have used the Nestabilities Captivating Square Die and I have daubered some Sahara Sand around the edges of the die cut image.

The sentiment is from the Teen Tiny Sentiments stamp set, stamped in Midnight Muse and punched out using the Modern Label Punch.

The paper is from my stash and the ribbon/cardstock are Midnight Muse (one of my favourite In Colours that is retiring).  There is some bling too!!

Here is my card:

To me this is a really Christmas card maybe not in colours but it has that festive feel.

Copics used: R0000, R5, BG0000, BG000, BG10, BG11, C1, C3, W00, W1, W3, W5, N0, N2, B00, B93, B95

Here is the sketch:

This is such a sweet image. It would be great for a New Year's card or a winter birthday, too. Love the palette you used, the layering, and the lacy die for the frame. That dotty ribbon is a sweet detail, too. Thanks for joining our Bling challenge at The East Wind. I hope we see you again soon.
