Santa and Elves

Hello – can you believe that we are in June!

This is the perfect time to get started on your Christmas cards and we have a fun easy challenge for you at Holly Jolly.

This week’s challenge is hosted by Julie and the theme is Santa and/or Elves.

Our challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo and I have used an image called Elf Candy Cane.

I have coloured the image in using Copic markers, R0000, R29, R24, R27, E000, E00, E21 and N0

I have also paper pieced some retired designer series paper on the hat and pants of my little elf friend.  The same paper has been used as a layer on the card.

The ribbon is a beautiful retired Chocolate Chip satin ribbon from my stash, the paper is also from my stash (non SU) and I have used the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder too.

The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set and the die cuts used are Nestabilities Standard Circles Large and Eyelet Circles sets.

Here is my card:

The layout of my card has been inspired by the current sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge.  Here is the sketch:
