Hi and thanks for visiting!

We have a new challenge over at Holly Jolly for the next two weeks and Carol is hosting our challenge.

Our fun theme is: Deck The Halls

So what does that mean to you?  Well to me it means Christmas Carols and so I have used this fabulous image from our Sponsor The Stamping Boutique called Caroling Snowmen.

Plus I recently found some Christmas Carols Paper from a craft shop and this has been used behind the image.

The image has been die cut using the Ovals Collection Die and layered on some Real Red cardstock which has also been die cut with a die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Opulent Ovals collection.

Here is my card:

Colours of Summer

Hello and welcome to my blog.

We have a fun Colour challenge over at Come and Get It this week hosted by Julie.

The main colours are: Yellow, Pink, Green and Blue

and we have two sponsors Fitztown and The Paper Shelter

For my card I have The Paper Shelter Pre-Coloured Image and Printed Papers from digital set called Angel.

The cardstock used is Pistachio Pudding, So Saffron and Whisper White.

The sentiment is from a new stamp set from Santoro’s Urban Rubber Stamp Collection called The White Rabbit.  The sentiment seemed perfect for this card, has been stamped in Marina Mist and punched out using the Modern Label Punch.

The dies used are the Ovals Collection Die, Marianne Petra Large Oval Die and Spellbinders Shapeabilities Venetian Motifs Die.

The Petra Oval die was distressed using Pistachio Pudding ink and a dauber. The lace is from my stash, the ribbon is Whisper White Organza Ribbon and there is some bling on the paper and one of the flowers.

Here is my card:

Cool Things for Summer

Hi and thanks for visiting!

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Come and Get It for this week.

Our theme: Cool Things for Summer

Earlier on in the year I purchased some Sarah Kay Die Cut Sheets and one of them has this wonderful image of a little girl sitting under the tree reading and as I love to read especially in the Summer Break here which is over Christmas!  This is the image I have used.

This is my first go at Decoupage and I just had to find the right layout and colours but I like the soft end result.  I have added a few butterflies, paper from my stash, ribbon and bling.

The die that has been used is the Nestabilities Captivating Squares die. The butterflies were created with the Elegant Butterfly punch and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die.

Here is my card:
