CCC - Vintage

Another post to share with you the details of our new challenge at Crafty Creations.

For the next two weeks we are going Vintage, so please come and join us and if you need some inspiration there is plenty to see from the Design Team here.

For my card I wanted to use a stamp set called “Love and Joy”, which can be used for Christmas but I have used it for a celebration card, just because I love the two simple words.

I stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip on to Naturals White cardstock, which has been die cut and embossed using the Nestabilities Captivating Squares set.  I daubed with Crumb Cake before I removed the cardstock from the die to get the highlights on the embossing.

Both papers used are recent purchases, the first layer of paper is from Authentique Paper I am not sure of the name and the other paper is by Marion Smith Garment District “Manhattan” range – just love it!

I folded the edges of the Authentique Paper and then paper piercing (which I haven’t done for ages) a couple of sides and then added more daubered Crumb Cake ink.  The faux stitching has been created with the Crumb Cake marker.

The lace is from my stash, so is the retired ribbon, Pearls and the Vintage Brads.

Here is my card:
