Something Old, Something New

 
Hello, I wanted to share with you my card for our new challenge at Crafty Creations.
 
 
Our challenge for the next two weeks is:
 

Something Old, Something New

 
and our challenge is sponsored by Fresh Brewed
 
 
I have used a sponsors image called Memory Mermaid and the image was coloured in with Copic Markers.
 
 
For the Something Old, I have used some black netting I found in my stash
For the Something New, I have used the image and the Sea background paper
 
 
Here is my card:
 
 
 
 
 
The script stamping is from the SU Open Sea stamp set and has been stamped in Island Indigo.  The shells are also from stash.
 
The sentiment an Inspired Stamping, the card stock is Crumb Cake and has been punched out.

HJ - Lots of Sparkle

 
Hello and hope that you are all well.
 
Just sharing with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly and our theme is:
 

Lots of Sparkle

 
I have used a Stamping Boutique image called Penguin's Home, which has been coloured with Copic.
 
For my sparkle I have used Red Glimmer Paper, Dazzling Diamonds and Rhinestones.
 
Here is my card:
 
 
He almost looks a bit stunned doesn't he!
 
 
So lots of sparkle and some paper from my stash.  The Sentiment is from Lily of the Valley.

CAGI Steam Punk


Hi everyone,

Hope you are having a wonderful day.

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge theme at Come and Get It:


Steam Punk


We have fantastic sponsors, Kenny K, Lacy Sunshine and Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.


I have used a Kenny K image called Lady Victoria and being my first Steam Punk card I decided to use mainly Black and Blues for colours.

I have also used a Tim Holtz Die called "On the Edge", a Sizzix Die 659706 "Rondeaux" and the clocks have been stamped in Pacific Point and I am sure the image is a Non Sequitur.


Here is my card:



The paper and lace are from my stash and the sentiment is a circular sentiment from Lily of the Valley.

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

First go at this style and I am quite happy with the end result.

Buttons & Bows

 
Hello and thanks for visiting.
 
I am sharing with you my card that I have created for our new challenge at ABC challenges.
 
 
For the next two weeks our challenge theme is:
 

Buttons & Bows

I have used a Pink Gem Designs image called Cocktail Emma.
 
Here is my card:
 
 
 
Isn't she just so cool!
 
The paper is from my stash and so is the lovely lace.
 
The ribbon is retired Crumb Cake and the button is Calypso Coral button again from my stash.
 
 
The sentiment is a Lily of the Valley Circular stamp set and the punches used were the retired Eyelet Border Punch, Decorative Label and 1-3/4" Circle.
 
The cardstock used is Calypso Coral and Early Espresso.

CCC Brr Blues

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting.
 
Just a quick post to share with you my card for the new challenge at Crafty Creations.
 
For the next two weeks our theme is 
 

Brr Blues

 
I have created a Christmas card using lots of blues and an image from Lily of the Valley called Little Holly.
 
The image has been coloured in with Copics and the paper is from my stash.  I have added some rhinestones on some of the snowflakes on the paper.
 
 
Here is my card:
 
 
 
 
A simple layout the paper has created a great background.  The ribbon is a retired SU ribbon and the embellishment is from the new Seasonal Catalogue and are called Something Borrowed.
 
The sentiment is from the Festival of Trees stamp set.

Unfortunately you cannot see very well in the photo but there is glitter on the stars to add a little bit more sparkle to the card.

HJ Ornament

Hi everyone, hope that you are well.

Just wanted to share with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly which is:
 

Ornaments

 
We have some fabulous sponsors, Bugaboo, Eureka, Dr Digi and Stamp & Create, so please come and join us if you get a chance.
 
The Magnolia image that I have used can be found at Stamp & Create and is from the Sweet Christmas Collection called Tilda Hiding Gift - it can be found here.
 
The image has been die cut using the SU Floral Frames Die to create an Ornament.  The image has been die cut using the Circles Collections.
 
Here is my project for the challenge:
 

 
 
 
The sentiment is from the SU Festival of Trees stamp set it has been cut out using the Bitty Banners Framelits. 
 
The SU Endless Wishes (love this stamp set) has been used to add the snowflakes on the Coastal Cabana cardstock.

The image has been coloured with Copic Markers and the markers used were:
 
Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 11, R21
Hair: E40, 42, 43, 53
Clothes, Hat, Apron, Present: E40, 42 43, 0000, R0000, 01, 02, BG0000, 10, 11, 13
 
The ribbon is the Crumb Cake Seam Binding and the sentiment has been stamped in Soft Suede.  I have also added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter to the Hat trim and in baubles in the Tilda's hair.

CAGI - Snow

Happy New Year to everyone - I hope that this year brings you much luck and happiness.
 
 
I am sharing with you my card for our new challenge at Come and Get It which is:

I have used a Crafty Sentiments called Snowman Song.
 
The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and I have used a fairly simple layout.

I have added some glitter to the snowman's hat and the papers used are retired SU papers.  The base cardstock is Calypso Coral.

ABC Anything Goes


Hello and Happy New Year  to you!!!!
 
It is hard to believe that 2014 has been and gone and here we are in 2015.
 
I hope that you had a wonderful start to the year however you celebrated!
 
Just a quick post on this warm New Year's day here in Sydney to share with you my card for our new challenge at ABC Challenges.
