D is for Die Cut

Hello and thank you for visiting.

I am sharing with you my card for our new challenge at ABC Challenge which is

Die Cuts

now we all have these wonderful items in our stash so please share with us your creation using some.

Our challenge is sponsored by Di's Digi Designs and Bunny Zoe.

I recently purchased this fabulous paper by Fabscraps C73003 Australia which has some images of the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, a Kookaburra and the word Australia and some script writing. It is really lovely and is perfect for this cute image from Elizabeth Bell called Daisy.

The other paper used is by Pima Marketing "Something Blue Collection - Announcement".

I created the banner with the sentiment from Loving Thoughts set and added a bow with some retired Pretty in Pink Ribbon.

The main die is from the Marianne Die collection LR0327, isn't it beautiful.  Not sure why I haven't used it before and the edges and embossing was daubered with Sahara Sand ink.

The image was cut using the a Circle Die from the SU Circle Collection.  I have also used the retired Eyelet Border Punch.

Here is my card:

The cardstock used was Sahara Sand, Melon Mambo and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

Here is a close up of the image:

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and the markers used were:

Hair: E0000, 51, 53, 55, 57
Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 11, R20
Clothes: E0000, 30, 50, 42, 53, 40, R0000, 85, 83, 81, Y21, 13
Flowers: Y17, 18, G000, 20, 21, 24,40
Outline: B01, 0000, 00, C00

I am going to send this card to two wonderful people in Denmark as I think it tells them exactly what they mean to me.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Inky Chicks Challenge - #46 From Your Country with Love
Deep Ocean Challenge - #97 Love is all Around

This is a cute card, Meighan. I love the image and the DP that has Australia on it. Beautiful coloring. I can actually remember when I was a kid we would all go barefoot. I loved playing with the flowers that I now know were weeds. Oh well. We were easy to please back then.
