Christmas Creatures

 
We have a new challenge over at Holly Jolly is Featuring a Creature.
 
We have two Sponsors Eureka & Lacy Sunshine.
 
I have used a Lacy Sunshine image called Snow & Cat Enchantress.
 
The papers are from Simple Stories #3516 Blue Snowflakes/Chevron and Bo Bunny Somewhere in the Beauty #16401408.
 
The image has been coloured with Copic Markers and layered on some Sahara Sand cardstock.  I have also added some extra bling and snowflakes from the Embellishments Frosted Sequins pack.

A fairly CAS card but just love this image. 
 
 
Here is a close up and you can see the glitter that has been added with some Crystal Effects & Dazzling Diamonds.

The little sentiment is from the Festival of Trees stamp set and has been stamped in Bermuda Bay ink and punched out using the Word Window Punch.

One for the Girls

Hello and thanks visiting.

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge over at
 
 
Our theme is one that we are sure everyone will love:
 

One for the Girls


So we would love to see lots of flowers, sparkle, ribbons you know what I mean.
 
 
We have three sponsors and I have used an image from one of our sponsors Fitztown called Fae 19.

I have coloured the image in with Copic markers in soft purple and added some Dazzling Diamonds to her wings.

The paper used is from Kaisercrafts Violet Crush Collection P1412 Dainty and
P1413 Mallow

The flowers, lace and pearls are from my stash.  The sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts stamp set.

Punches and Dies

 
Hello and thanks for visiting.
 
 
I am sharing with you my card for my first challenge as part of the Southern Girls Design Team, which I am super excited about.
 

The theme for our challenge is Dies and Punches.

 
Our challenge is sponsored by Oakpond Creations and Polkadoodles.
 
 
I have used an Oakpond Creation image called Digital Stamp Butterfly and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.
 
I have used two dies, one is a Marianne Die LR0319 which has been die cut in Daffodil Delight and I have also added some colour the embossing with a dauber.
 
The other die is the one of the banners from the SU Banners Framelits Dies and the sentiment is from the Amazing Birthday stamp set. The sentiment reads "So Thankful for Every Bit of You" and has been stamped in Rose Red.
 
The cardstock used is Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake, Natural White, Daffodil Delight and Copic Xpress Blending card.
 
The lace is from my stash and the design paper used is from Kaiser Craft Telegraph Road Collection.

CC Chevrons or Stripes

 
I have another card to share with you for our challenge over at Crafty Creations.
 
 
Our challenge theme for the next two weeks is
 

Chevrons or Stripes

 
I have decided to use some Chevron Paper I recently purchased and added some butterflies with a sentiment from the Simply Wonderful Sale-A-Bration stamp set.
 
Here is my card:
 
 
 
The paper used is by Fabscraps and is called White Lace, both sides of this paper are adorable.
 
The die used is a Marianne Die and from the Large Petra Oval die set.  The embossing has been daubered with Basic Grey ink.
 
The Whisper White cardstock has been embossed using the Delicate Designs embossing folder and die cut the edge using the SU Large Scallop Edgelit Die.
 
The butterflies have been cut out and embossed using the Beautiful Wings Die and layered with rhinestone in the centre.

There is some scattered sequins and rhinestones on the butterflies. 
 
A simple card but I love it.

HJ Stitching

Hi everyone,
 
Hope you are well.
 
Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly.
 

Our theme is: Stitching (Real or Faux)

 
and our challenge is sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and Oddball Art
 
I have used a super cute image called Kawaii Christmas Zebra from Oddball Art.
 
The layout for my card is pretty CAS and the image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.
 
I have some faux stitching which I created using a paper piecing tool around the edge of the cardstock and connected each stitch with a Basic Grey SU Marker.
 
There is also some real stitching on the Wild Wasabi Ribbon.
 
Here is my card:
 
 
The sentiment reads "A Merry Little Wish..." and is from the Festival of Trees stamp set and was stamped in Wild Wasabi ink.
 
The Die is a Memory Box Die called "Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set".

We have our new challenge at ABC Challenge that I wanted to share with you.

The sweet image used is from Magnolia and is called Tilda Loves Flowers and has been coloured with Copic Markers.

I have also used some some Magnolia Ink Papers called Sweet Crazy Love & Once Upon a Time.  I have also added some Pearls to one side of the card.

Create a Background

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Come and Get It this week.
 
Our challenge theme is:
 

Make Your Own Background

 
we have two fabulous sponsors, Sweet Pea Stamps & Aurora Wings.
 
For my background I swipped Crumb Cake, Hello Honey and Island Indigo ink pads across a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
 
I wanted to create a water sort of background as the image I have used is from Aurora Wings and is called The Secret Best Friends, which is two little mermaids.
 
 
The image was coloured in with  Copic Markers and has bee die cut with an Oval die from the SU Ovals Collection.
 
The image  has been placed on a Twisted Easel Layout Card.
 
I have used two Marianne Dies LR0327 & LR0280.  The chipboard is from Scrap Matts CB1226 Marine Life & CB1221 Nautical Designs.
 
The reed chipboard pieces were coloured using the Distress Inks Faded Jeans & Brushed Cordurey.
 
The little sea shells were coloured lightly with a dauber and Island Indigo ink,

The reeds behind the image were stamped with the a stamp from the retired Inspired Nature set in Sahara Sand ink.
 
The sentiment is from the Six Sided Sampler stamp set in Island Ink and punched out using the Word Window punch.

CCC Sketch Time

 
Hi everyone,
 
Hope your week is going well!
 
Just a quick post to share my card for our new challenge a Crafty Creations and for the next two weeks we have a sketch to inspire you!
 
Our challenge is sponsored by Oak Pond and the Design Team have some fabulous creations to share.
 
I have used some lovely paper from Graphic 45 Time to Flourish Creation called March Flourish #4501034 to create my card.
 
This beautiful paper has so many Spring Flowers on one side and some St Patrick's Day good luck wishes on the other.  So butterflies seem to be perfect too!   
 
Here is my card:
 
 
I have used Whisper White and Concord Crush cardstock plus some Concord Crush ink.  As well as some Delicate Details Lace Tape.

HJ - Dies & Punches

Hi everyone,
 
Just sharing with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly for the next two weeks our challenge them is
 

Dies & Punches

 
What a fabulous challenge to get you started on your Christmas cards!
 
Plus we have some great sponsors: Bugaboo, Dr Digi and Fred She Said.
 
I have used an image from Dr Digi called Surfin Santa and coloured this very cool Santa in with Copic Markers.
 
The papers used are from Bo Bunny Back to Basic Elf Magic #14901907 & Tinsel #14901917. The sentiment is from Lily of the Valley Circle Sentiments and has been stamped in retired Midnight Muse.
 
The sentiment was punched out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and layered on some Real Red cardstock which has been die cut with a die from Memory Box called Lace Circle.

With this paper it seemed perfect to use this sentiment "Happy Christmas - Sending Love across the Miles"
