Paris

I have another card to share with you for our challenge at Crafty Creations.

 

For the next two weeks our theme is Paris.

 

A fabulous theme and I found some great paper by Prima Marketing from the En Francais Collection “Memoire”.

 

Plus I raided my stamp stash and found my Non- Sequitur stamps which had this fabulous image on it.

 

Here is my card:

I stamped the image on Whisper White cardstock with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with Black Embossing powder.

 

I then added some Frantage Shabby White, Aged Ochre and Shabby Blue.

 

The sentiment is from the SU A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and the punch is SU Scalloped Edge punch.

 

The other cardstock used is SU Not Quite Navy and Bravo Burgundy.

Christmas Embossing

Hello and thanks for visiting.

 

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly.

 

For the next two weeks we would love you to share with us your Christmas Embossing.

 

We have some fabulous sponsors The Stamping Boutique, Sami Stamps and Di’s Digi’s.

 

I have used a Di’s Digi called Penguin Love and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

I have used a lovely part of a sheet of paper by Bo Bunny called Christmas Collage – Carolling.

 

For my embossing I used an embossing folder I have had for a while and was a gift on a craft magazine.  I added some Calypso Coral ink to the embossing with a dauber.

 

Other than a few layers, it is a fairly simple card but the paper is lovely so I did not want to add more.

The cardstock used was SU Calypso Coral, Basic Grey, So Saffron and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

 

I have added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with Crystal Effects to the coat trimming and the spots on the scarf and buttons is Liquid Pearls Rouge.

Snowmen

Hello – hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.

 

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Come and Get It.

 

Our challenge theme being so close to Christmas is Snowmen

 

We have some fabulous sponsors Sami Stamps and Crafty Sentiments.

 

I have used a Crafty Sentiments stamp called Snowman with Candy Cane and Holly, the image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

 

I have used the SU paper Home for Christmas and the cardstock used is Sahara Sand, Real Red and Express It Blending cardstock.

 

The snowflakes are an SU products Snowflake Elements and I have added a little white to them using White Gel pen and then some sparkle with the Wink of Stella Clear pen.

The die cuts used are from SU Circles Collection and Spellbinder Nestabilities Lacey Circles.  The ribbon is a retired Real Red ribbon.

 

The larger Rhinestones are an SU product, the little red ones are from my stash.  The snow texture at the bottom of the image is a Fake Snow I pickup from a shop and added for a bit of fun.

V is for Violet

We have a super new challenge at ABC Challenges for the next two weeks which is:

 

V is for Violet
(so we need to see shades of purple on your creation).

 

 

Our challenge is sponsored by The Paper Shelter and I have used an image call In the 20’s.  The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

 

The paper used is by Kaisercraft Violet Crush Collection P1408 Mauve.

 

The paper used for the butterfly boarder by Joy Crafts is a retired SU paper that I found in a draw with some other 6 x 6 papers.

The dies used were from SU Ovals Collection, Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Ovals and Marianne Design Large Petra Oval Collection.

 

The cardstock used is SU Pale Plum, SU Perfect Plum, SU White Naturals Collection and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

The flowers are from my stash and fit perfectly as they are different shades of purple. The rhinestones I recently found in a shop and again are different shades of purple.

Ribbons and Pearls

Hi and thanks for visiting.

We have a great new challenge at Holly Jolly and now I have another card for my Christmas card stash.

One of our sponsors is Melonheadz and I have used one of their images called Christmas Elves.

The image was coloured in with Copic Markers and the paper I have used are from a SU DSP pack called Home for Christmas. I just love this paper set, so many cool designs.

The paper inspired the colours I have used to colour the image.

The Ribbon I have used is retired SU Real Red satin ribbon and the pearls are also SU.

The ornament sentiment is a chipboard piece from Scrapmatts in Australia and the chipboard pieces are from the Christmas Ornaments collection.  I added some Real Red ink with a dauber to the chipboard.

The ornament is hanging of the ribbon bow with some twine and I added pearl on top. The pearl had a little Real Red ink added to it with the dauber.

The cardstock used is Real Red, Basic Black and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

Lots of Sparkle

We have a fun “Lots of Sparkle” Challenge over at Come and Get It for the next week.

 

I have used one of the images from one of our Sponsors A Day for Daisies called Joy Angel.

 

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and the layout of my card is fairly CAS.

 

For the sparkles I have used SU Dazzling Diamond Glitter on the wings and punched some hearts out of the Red Glitter paper with the Owl Builder Punch.  I also added some Rhinestones to the base cardstock.

The cardstock used is SU Wild Wasabi and Sahara Sand.  The dies used are from SU Squares Collection and Spellbinder Nestabilities Captivating Squares collection.

 

The Spellbinder Square has a little Sahara Sand ink added with a dauber. The lace is from my stash.

Ribbon, Twine or Tape

We have a new exciting challenge over at Southern Girls Challenges.

 

Our theme is Ribbon, Twine or Tape

 

We have a two fabulous sponsors Little Claire and Ching-Chou Kuik.

 

I have used a sweet image called Key to My Heart by Ching-Chou Kuik.  It is the first time I have used one of these lovely images and the image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

 

The image was die cut with a die from the SU Ovals Collection and the Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Ovals set.

 

The flowers, lace and ribbon are all from my stash. The papers are from by Creativ and Kaisercraft.  The ribbon is an SU ribbon. 

The smaller piece of paper was from my paper stash.

 

The punch is the SU Eyelet Boarder punch

ABC

We have a new challenge at ABC Challenge and our new challenge theme is:

 

U for Unlimited

I have used a Magnolia image called Sweet Christmas Tilda from the 2011 Christmas collection.  I have coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

The colours used were inspired by this lovely Christmas paper I purchased recently. It is from KaiserCraft Silver Bells Collection and is called Carol #P1930.  The papers have lots of Christmas carols music words and notes on it but I have used a section of the paper which has some snowflakes and Christmas ornaments.

 

The additional snowflakes and sequins are from the SU Frosted Sequins Embellishments.

The lace is from my stash and the sentiment is from the SU Embellished Ornaments stamp set. It was stamped with Marina Mist ink and die cut from the Holly Holiday Frame Set by Memory Box.

 

The cardstock used is Marina Mist, Smokey Slate and Xpress-It Blending cardstock.
