Southern Girls Anything Goes

Just a quick post to share with your our new challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge.

Our challenge theme : Anything Goes

I have used the sponsors image called Petrinka and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The colours were inspired by the paper I found in my stash.  

Here is my card:



The layout of my card was inspired by the sketch at Paper Play Sketches.



The sentiment is from the SU stamp set Rose Wonder.

It reads "For some things there are just no words".

The cardstock used is SU Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

The paper is by Basic Grey "Picnic Basket" and KaiserCraft "Oh So Lovely Collection - Girly".

Christmas Stash

We have a super new challenge over at Holly Jolly.

Theme: Use Your Stash

Sponsors: All Dressed Up, Morgan's Artworld and Fred She Said

I have used an image from Morgan's Artworld called Goth Fairy 4 and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

For my stash item, I have used some Christmas Paper from a paper stack I purchased a while ago from Couture Creations called Vintage Christmas.

The paper has been used for the background and also the sentiment is from the paper collection.

The dies used were from SU Ovals Collection and Spellbinders Nestabilities Floral Ovals set.

I have added some Wink of Stella on the fairy's wings and added some bling in the flower.

Add Stitching

Just a quick post to share with you the details of our new challenge at Come and Get It.

Our theme: Stitching (real or faux)

Sponsor: Scrapper's Delight

I have used one of the Pixie Corner Single images and coloured the image in with Copic Markers

I have created Faux stitching and to show the stitch I have used the SU Chocolate Chip marker.

The paper used is from Grapic 45 "Once Upon a Springtime Collection" and Authentique "Enduring" paper.

A very girly card and I added a sentiment "Just Because" which is from the SU A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.

The lace and Prima Flowers are from my stash.

Christmas and Lace

I have used a QKR image called Shepherd and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The layout of my card is again fairly CAS and the paper by Bo Bunny called "Father Christmas".

The bling and lace are from my stash.

I love how the paper reads: "All Snug in their Beds".

The bling is a very light greent but unfortunately is not very clear on the photo.

In the Spotlight

Hi, hope you are doing well this Sunday.

Just a quick post to share with you the details of our new challenge at Come and Get It.

Our theme: Favourite Technique

Our sponsors: Oddball Art

I have used our sponsor's image called Back 2 School Geek Girl and coloured part of the image in with Copic Markers.

I have many favourite techniques but one that I have not used for a while.  The technique is called Spotlight Technique.  There are so many tutorials or links on the web and I have linked the Splitcoaststamps on here.

So I have gone with a mainly black and white colour scheme and the pop of colour is from the spotlight on the image.

Here is my card: 



The embossing background has been created with the SU Happy Heart embossing folder.  The daisy flowers are a new purchase and the bling on the side is pearls and black rhinestones.

Words



Hello and welcome

Just a quick post to share with you the details our new challenge at Southern Girls Challenge.


Our Theme: Words


I have used an image from Julia Spiri called Little Fairy and she is super cute.  I have coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The paper used is Authentique Uncommon Gifted and Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Collection.

The punch is the retired SU Eyelet Border Punch and the bling is from my stash.

The cardstock used is Retired SU Raspberry Ripple and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

I added a little Wink of Stella Clear to her wings to add a little sparkle.
